Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Compassionate Addiction Care

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Practical Nurse? Urban Recovery offers comprehensive care for individuals overcoming substance and alcohol use challenges. We are seeking motivated LPNs to join our team and deliver outstanding patient care.

Role Overview:

• Shifts: Days only (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Days Available: Monday, Friday, and Saturday

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications accurately, adhering to nursing standards and physician directives.
• Educate patients on medication and treatment plans, documenting their progress and addressing concerns.
• Monitor and document detox and recovery processes, escalating issues as necessary.
• Perform patient assessments, including withdrawal evaluations and vital signs.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support quality improvement efforts by gathering and analyzing care data.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an active NYS LPN license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Two years of experience preferred; addiction treatment experience is a plus.

Key Skills:

• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking abilities.
• Familiarity with healthcare software systems.
