Behavioral Health Counselor

We are a growing inpatient drug treatment program seeking passionate and driven Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. Candidates must ensure compliance with OASAS regulations for inpatient detox and rehab services, along with timely documentation.

In this role, counselors will manage a caseload of 8-10 clients and provide daily individual and group counseling, conduct admission assessments, handle case management and aftercare planning, offer crisis interventions, and create individualized treatment plans. Strong documentation skills and familiarity with OASAS guidelines are advantageous.

Shifts: Tuesday - Saturday (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or Sunday - Thursday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM)

Requirements:

Experience:

Preferred minimum of 1 year in Substance Use Counseling.

License/Certification:

CASAC, CASAC-A, CASAC 2, CASAC-M.
