Advance Practice Nurse (1099)

Overview

Groups Recover Together is currently looking for Advanced Practice Nurses (NP/APRN) to work as 1099 Providers n one of our Kentucky locations:

Ashland - Bardstown - Corbin - Erlanger - Frankfort - Georgetown - Hazard - Lexington - London - Louisville - Owensboro - Paducah - Pikeville - Pineville - Richmond - Somerset - Winchester

with a compensation rate of $100 per hour.

The minimum commitment for this role is five hours per week, with availability required on weekday evenings as well.

Groups approach to opiate addiction treatment, involving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and therapy, gives its members the confidence to take control of their lives again.

Responsibilities

An independent Nurse Practitioner or Advance Practice Nurse with a 1099 status usually gains independence and autonomy as they work for themselves:

• Importance of Intake Procedures Before Healthcare Provider Consultation.
• The evaluation of patients' clinical progress takes place during regular group counseling sessions, run by specialized counseling staff. Providers are available to support patients' needs, such as managing medication doses and answering questions.
• Facilitate the dispensing of medications by approving prescription requests during regular monthly appointments.
• Providers should familiarize themselves with the Groups EMR system to ensure efficient use

Our clinical decision-making is founded on strict guidelines. In addition, we've introduced a novel clinical system that leverages technology and teamwork to manage all patient care and regulatory compliance responsibilities. This enables physicians to concentrate exclusively on providing medical management.

Qualifications

As 1099 workers, Nurse practitioners/Advance Practice Nurses are generally self-employed and work on a contractual basis with healthcare providers:

• License in Full Effect for NP/ APRN Practice in Kentucky.
• An individual DEA member who actively works in Kentucky. and is identified by their address.
• In the past, gaining DEAX certification was obligatory to provide prescriptions for Buprenorphine. While in-direct or relative experience will be considered, patients with practical know-how of prescribing in the SUD/MAT realm will be given preference.
• Proof of active Board Certification demonstrates that the healthcare provider is up-to-date with the latest advancements and recommendations in their speciality, and is committed to providing the highest level of care to their patients
• At least 5 hours per week of in-office presence is mandatory at one of our Maine locations.
