As a LVN, you'll provide personalized nursing care tailored to client needs, employing established nursing techniques and procedures under the guidance of a registered nurse. This role allows you to collaborate with passionate professionals while developing your clinical skills!

*Shifts available from 7 AM to 7:30 PM and 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications safely and promptly according to physician orders.
• Educate patients on their medications, documenting their understanding and compliance, and alerting the registered nurse or physician to any concerns.
• Document patient activities, including admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, notifying the registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Monitor the detoxification process and document any abnormal behaviors, notifying the registered nurse or physician as necessary.
• Record treatment interventions and patient responses, informing the registered nurse or physician of any irregularities.
• Communicate with the treatment team about patient progress, reporting any concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as outlined in the treatment plan.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in addiction treatment is advantageous.
