Qualifications for Hospital Nurse (RN):

• Must have an active RN license in New York
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
• Access to reliable transportation required

Job Summary:

The RN will oversee patient care, focusing on long-term recovery and rehabilitation. This includes developing personalized care plans, ensuring proper implementation, and coordinating with other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities Include:

• Following Nurse Practice Act and organizational guidelines
• Assessing, planning, and evaluating resident care
• Supervising other nursing personnel
• Documenting care accurately and managing medical equipment
• Respecting patient rights and maintaining confidentiality
• Providing education to patients and families
• Rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends

Education & Experience:

• Graduation from a recognized nursing program
• At least one year of experience in acute or long-term care settings preferred
• Valid RN license in New York is required
