Sous Chef

We are a growing company searching for enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic Sous Chefs who have a passion for food and hospitality. The role of Sous Chef at the Recovery Center of Niagara is essential to our team. You will receive thorough training and orientation in both the kitchen and serving areas. We're seeking independent individuals who take pride in delivering great work!

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare large quantities of food, stock, serve, clean, wash dishes, and assemble meals.
• Be knowledgeable about and demonstrate the responsibilities associated with the assigned role.
• Follow department policies and procedures.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with established standards.
• Assist in catering events when needed.
• Perform multiple kitchen functions.
• Maintain food at the correct temperature.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized.
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed.

Skills Required

• Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Job Type

• Full-time with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
