Join our mission-driven team, dedicated to supporting individuals struggling with substance and alcohol use disorders. We provide comprehensive care, from detox and medication-assisted treatment to rehabilitation and therapy, prioritizing quality care every step of the way. We are looking for Medical Nurse LPN to become part of our compassionate and skilled medical staff.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately administer medications as prescribed, adhering to nursing standards and physician orders.
• Educate patients about their medications, document understanding, and escalate issues to the registered nurse or physician when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of patient activities, including admissions, discharges, and external medical visits, ensuring abnormalities are reported promptly.
• Monitor detoxification processes, documenting physical and behavioral responses, and address concerns as they arise.
• Record treatment interventions and patient progress in medical records, communicating irregularities to the appropriate team members.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and vital sign checks in accordance with treatment plans.
• Support quality assurance efforts through data collection related to incidents, risk management, and medication events.

Qualifications

Education & Certification:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Active NY State Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid CPR and BLS certifications.

Experience:

• Two years of nursing experience, with a preference for addiction care.

Skills:

• Strong computer and documentation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and effective time management.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
