Position Summary

The Patient Care Supervisor RN will lead the nursing department during weekend shifts, ensuring the care delivery process is conducted in line with state regulations. You will oversee resident care, ensure resource management, and promote effective communication among departments to provide high-quality care and improve overall satisfaction. In the absence of senior leadership, you will also manage nursing operations and ensure compliance with all applicable guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Experience

• Two years of nursing experience, with at least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly in writing and speaking.
• Must be able to make independent, informed decisions in nursing care.
• Ability to provide care suited to the individual needs of the elderly and sick.
• Be a positive team player, promoting collaboration and supporting the team.
• Ability to address sensitive situations with patience and professionalism.
• Adaptable to new care techniques and willing to integrate them into daily practices.
• Must be able to provide clear and concise updates regarding residents' conditions.
• Reliable attendance and adherence to dress code and cleanliness standards.

Physical and Sensory Demands

• Must be able to move around the facility frequently during work hours.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively.
• Must be capable of handling the emotional and mental demands of nursing.
• Must have functional vision and hearing, or use prosthetics, to perform job duties.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, kneeling, and reaching.
• Ability to assist with evacuations when necessary during emergencies.

Work Conditions

• The work environment may expose you to risks such as odors or infections.
• Regular interactions with residents, their families, and healthcare teams.
• May be required to work additional hours, including weekends.
• Must be available for call-back during emergencies.
• Participation in ongoing training and education is required.
• Possible exposure to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and chemicals.
