Clinic LPN

We are an organization dedicated to providing care for individuals struggling with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our focus is on delivering exceptional patient care, ensuring that quality is our top priority. Our facility offers a comprehensive continuum of services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently looking for Full-Time Clinic LPN to join our caring team!

As LPN, you will be responsible for delivering individualized nursing care according to each patient's specific needs, following established protocols under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications safely and in a timely manner, adhering to physician orders.
• Provide education to patients about their medications, ensuring documentation of their understanding and compliance; alert a registered nurse or physician of any concerns.
• Record all patient activities, including admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, notifying the nursing team of any irregularities.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process and the patients' responses, reporting any issues to nursing or medical staff.
• Document all treatment interventions and patient reactions, informing the registered nurse or physician of any abnormalities.
• Communicate with the treatment team regarding the progress of patient treatment, keeping the registered nurse or physician informed of any issues.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as specified in the treatment plan.
• Participate in data collection for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, including Census and Incident Reports, and report any irregularities to nursing or medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Current CPR and BLS certifications.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
