Chef

We are a rapidly expanding company seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and energetic Chef who have a passion for food creativity and hospitality. As a Chef at the Recovery Center of Niagara, you will play a crucial role in our success. We provide training and orientation in both the kitchen and serving areas. We are looking for individuals who work independently and take pride in their craft.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned position but may include large-scale food preparation, stocking, delivery, serving, cleaning, washing dishes, and meal assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and demonstrate the responsibilities of the assigned positions.
• Apply knowledge of current department policies and procedures.
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals.
• Participate in occasional catering events.
• Fulfill various kitchen roles as needed.
• Ensure food is maintained at the proper temperature.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and tidy.
• Perform any other duties as required.

Skills

• Team player with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Job Type

• Full-time with a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend.
