Mental Health Social Worker (LCSW)

Surfpoint Recovery is an inpatient drug treatment program that allows clinical professionals to grow and advance their careers. In this role, you will collaborate with other clinicians, nurses, providers, and peer advocates to formulate comprehensive care plans for our clients.

The LCSW will provide supervision to LMSWs, aiding in their professional growth and enhancing their leadership and mentoring skills.

*This position has the option for hybrid work, including both in-person and remote responsibilities.

Duties:

Assist LMSWs and other clinical staff to ensure:

• Effective management of a caseload consisting of 8-10 clients
• Conducting daily individual and group counseling sessions
• Provision of aftercare planning, crisis interventions, and individualized treatment plans
• Compliance with documentation requirements and progress notes
• Adherence to OASAS standards
• Participation in weekly utilization reviews as per clinical and administrative protocols
• Assistance in organizing weekly case conferences and reviews
• Supervising MSW student interns when necessary

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree is mandatory
• Must hold a valid New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential and be in good standing
• SIFI preferred, but not required (or a willingness to complete a SIFI course)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience required
