That's why Groups Recover Together utilizes a comprehensive care model that includes medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. Responsibilities
Groups Recover Together owes a great deal of its success to the dedicated counselors who work tirelessly for the organization.
For those who are passionate about group therapy, a Counselor may be the ideal role. At Groups, we aim to upset industry standards by providing support teams for our Counselors. As a Counselor, you will have a rare opportunity to change the lives of our members. You will be an integral member of a cross-functional team that comprises prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers. Our holistic clinical model underscores counseling, medication, and community involvement as fundamental to long-term recovery. This role comes with numerous responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Take an active part in the treatment team and grow your expertise on addiction and recovery, managing the member's treatment decisions and collaborating with our clinical experts.
- Manage a schedule that is conducive to your clinical growth and development, and aligns with the mandates of the office and region.
- Provide 10-12 weekly group therapy sessions, ranging from 2-3 sessions every day, using our established program to assist individuals in building skills for recovery and community development.
- Monitor the progress of employees using Core Milestones and feedback from customers via NPS scores.
- Leverage partnerships with community organizations to increase the reach and effectiveness of community relations efforts
- Provide targeted stakeholders with literature that explains the vision and aims of Groups and encourages their support for the initiative
- Be present and involved in gatherings that highlight the significance of recovery and treatment for addiction
- Promote the Groups' mission to community members by distributing well-crafted materials that underscore their purpose
- Attend meetings that are organized by the community specifically to address the subject of dependency on drugs and alcohol

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree are Required.
- We are currently accepting applications from individuals who are under supervision to achieve credentials in MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. RN & LPN. Applicants must also provide satisfactory supporting documentation verifying their experience in leading therapeutic groups.
- Facilitating Group Therapy sessions requires a person to be well-versed in various techniques such as breathing exercise, guided imagery, and mindful meditation, among others, which has enabled me to become an expert facilitator.
- With a high comfort level with technology, I am adept at utilizing the latest EMR, Telehealth software, Google's wide range of products including Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive, and mobile apps, amongst others.
- Compassionate care should encompass not only the physical well-being of patients but also their emotional and social needs.
- The job requires the availability to work 2-3 evenings weekly, with the possibility of working until 9pm.
- Those who possess expertise in mental healthcare, social work, addiction recovery treatment, counseling, human services, social services, and MAT administration are the preferred candidates.
