Urban Recovery is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our facility offers a range of services including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently hiring Full-Time and Part-Time LVN to join our team!

As LPN, you will provide personalized nursing care based on the unique needs of each client, using established nursing techniques and standards under the guidance of a registered nurse. This position allows you to work with a team of committed professionals while developing your clinical skills!

Shift Options:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications in accordance with Safe Nursing Practice standards and physician orders.
• Educate patients regarding their medications and document their understanding and compliance; notify the registered nurse or physician of any irregularities.
• Record patient activities such as admissions, discharges, transfers, and emergency room visits; inform the registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process and patient behavioral responses; communicate concerns to the registered nurse or physician.
• Record treatment interventions and patient reactions; report any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Collaborate with the treatment team regarding patient progress, alerting the registered nurse or physician of any concerns.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Gather data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, such as census, Kardex, risk management, incident reports, infection control, and medication events; notify the registered nurse or physician of any abnormalities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• At least two (2) years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
