LPN

We are a healthcare facility dedicated to supporting individuals who are dealing with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our priority is delivering the highest quality of patient care in all aspects of our work. Our organization offers a full range of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are seeking Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our committed team!

As LPN, you will provide individualized nursing care tailored to each patient's specific requirements, following established nursing practices under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Essential Duties:

• Administer medications safely and on time, in accordance with physician orders.
• Educate patients regarding their medications and document their understanding and any compliance issues; notify a registered nurse or physician of any irregularities.
• Record patient activities such as admissions, discharges, and emergency visits, alerting the nursing staff to any concerns.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process, noting any behavioral responses and informing nursing or medical staff of any issues.
• Document treatment interventions and the patient's responses, reporting any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Collaborate with the treatment team on patient progress, ensuring that the registered nurse or physician is informed of any problems.
• Perform withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as indicated in the treatment plan.
• Assist in collecting data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, including Census and Incident Reports, and report any irregularities to nursing or medical personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid CPR and BLS certifications.
• A minimum of two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
