Nurse Coordinator

Role Purpose:

The Nurse Coordinator (RN) with Administrative Duties oversees nursing operations during the weekend. You will manage the nursing process, which includes resident assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. In this role, you'll ensure care resources are well-coordinated, facilitate interdisciplinary communication, and ensure that the facility meets regulatory standards. You'll also manage the nursing department when the DON/ADON is not present.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license required; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• At least two years of RN experience, with one year of supervisory experience, is preferred.

Required Skills:

• Ability to speak and write in English, make sound decisions, and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, leadership, and effective communication with residents, families, and staff.

Physical and Sensory Requirements:

• Must be able to move frequently and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to manage stressful situations and work independently is essential.

Work Conditions:

• Must be able to work weekends and deal with interruptions, emergencies, and emotionally demanding situations.
