We are an organization specializing in the care of individuals with substance and alcohol use disorders. Our focus is on ensuring that patient care is always our highest priority. We offer a complete range of services, including detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, rehabilitation, and recovery therapy. We are currently in search of Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our dedicated team!

In this role, the LPN will deliver individualized nursing care based on the specific needs of clients, adhering to established nursing standards and practices under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer all medications safely and in a timely manner according to physician orders.
• Educate patients about their medications, documenting their understanding and any compliance issues; notify a registered nurse or physician of any concerns.
• Document all patient-related activities, including admissions, discharges, and emergency room visits, and alert the nursing team to any irregularities.
• Monitor and document the detoxification process and patient responses, notifying nursing or medical staff of any concerns.
• Record treatment interventions and the patient's responses, reporting any abnormalities to the registered nurse or physician.
• Communicate with the treatment team regarding the progress of patient treatment, informing the registered nurse or physician of any issues.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor vital signs as indicated by the treatment plan.
• Assist in gathering data for Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs, including Census and Incident Reports, and report any irregularities to nursing or medical staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current NY State Board of Nursing License and Registration.
• Valid CPR and BLS certifications.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Preferred experience in addiction treatment.
