Groups Recover Together provides comprehensive outpatient opioid addiction treatment. Based on the idea that rehabilitation is linked to parts of life that are beyond the scope of an office visit, our care model incorporates three fundamental modalities that have been shown to help people get their lives back on track: medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation. We take pride in delivering high-quality professional therapy as well as team-based support to help people achieve a sober life worth living.

Responsibilities

Counselors are the backbone of Groups Recover Together, ensuring that we provide exceptional care to our clients.

If your passion lies in group therapy, then this Counselor role is tailored for you. At Groups, we defy industry norms. You won't be solely responsible for managing all aspects of member care. As a Counselor, you play a pivotal role in our members transformation, serving as a core member of a cross-functional care team alongside prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and office managers. Together, we are dedicated to our members, delivering a holistic clinical model grounded in the belief that counseling, medication, and community support are essential for sustained recovery. Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the treatment team and serve as the authority on addiction and recovery, overseeing decisions regarding members treatment plans.
  • Manage a schedule and caseload to meet the needs of the office and region while enhancing your clinical expertise.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure alignment with the clinical service model.
  • Facilitate 2-3 one-hour group therapy sessions, utilizing our structured curriculum to cultivate recovery skills and foster community.
  • Document members progress using outcome measures (Core Milestones) and gathering client feedback through NPS scores
  • Proactively engage in community relations activities
  • Distribute pamphlets and written materials to community stakeholders promoting Groups mission.
  • Attend and participate in community meetings on substance abuse and addiction issues.

We offer many benefits for our team members. Here are a few that youll enjoy in this role:

  • When working as a counselor, there are no obligatory one-on-one meetings or intakes, providing independence for counselors to conduct group sessions utilizing their specialized counseling skills.
  • Promoting a healthy work-life balance is our goal for all of our members. We offer adaptable scheduling options to ensure that each employee achieves a balance that prioritizes their wellness without compromising our members needs.
  • Join our team to enjoy a great salary package and a plethora of paid time off options.
  • A robust benefits program that encompasses health, vision, dental, 401k matching, HSA, FSA, and paid time-off for new parents.
  • Workers can thrive at the company thanks to its unwavering commitment to employee success, providing paid time off and a stipend for ongoing education and skill-building.
  • Groups recognizes the importance of providing counselors with a clear and transparent career trajectory built on merit. The company provides relevant resources designed to foster professional growth, enabling employees to advance within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree is a requirement
  • Preferred qualifications include active behavioral health licensure, such as ADC, AADC, LPC, LICSW, or associate level status, with the ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states.
