Job Summary

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the nursing department in our long-term care facility. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality care that complies with professional standards, the center's policies, and all relevant regulations.

Key Duties

• Supervise nursing staff and ensure participation in quality assurance activities and reviews.
• Identify clinical risks, work with the team to address them, and contribute to risk reduction strategies.
• Ensure that physicians' orders are clearly communicated and followed by the appropriate teams.
• Oversee the delegation of nursing and therapeutic duties to ensure the delivery of effective care.
• Conduct patient rounds to assess physical conditions and care quality, ensuring proper documentation.
• Participate in investigations of incidents, ensuring reports are submitted on time.
• Ensure compliance with infection control practices and proper biohazard waste procedures.

Education and Experience

• Valid RN license required; experience in long-term care or with geriatric populations is preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• A minimum of three years of nursing experience and one year of supervisory experience.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to manage nursing services efficiently.
