Location: 4125 W Sample Rd, Coconut Creek, FL 33073
Position: Nursing Unit Manager (RN) (Part-Time, Weekends Only: 7:00 pm - 3:00 am)

Role Overview:

Your role as Nursing Unit Manager (RN) will involve overseeing the nursing program within our long-term care facility, ensuring adherence to clinical standards, regulatory guidelines, and Solaris HealthCare's policies. You'll help maintain the highest standards of resident care and work collaboratively to drive quality assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide nursing staff in quality assurance and care utilization processes.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating clinical risks, formulating plans to address them.
• Ensure that physician orders for resident care are communicated effectively across units.
• Delegate nursing tasks to qualified personnel, ensuring quality therapeutic practices.
• Conduct patient rounds, assessing residents' conditions and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Facilitate occurrence investigations and submit timely reports to nursing leadership.
• Monitor and enforce infection control protocols and manage biohazard waste data.

Qualifications:

• Valid R.N. license with a background in geriatric or long-term care.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum three years of nursing experience, including one year of supervisory duties.
• Strong organizational skills to manage nursing services and collaborate with other departments.
