At Groups Recover Together, we provide outpatient care that addresses the complexities of opioid addiction. Our care model incorporates medication, weekly group therapy, and care navigation, acknowledging that recovery is not just about medical intervention. Responsibilities

Counselors play a pivotal role in the success of Groups Recover Together, as they provide a wealth of support and guidance to our clients.

Collaborates with the care team in developing strategies for members' behavioral health needs:

• Be an engaged member of the treatment team and develop specialized knowledge about addiction and recovery. In tandem with our clinical team, make informed decisions about the member's treatment plan.
• Efficiently manage your schedule and caseload by creatively balancing the demands of the office, region, and the need for personal growth.
• Organize and lead ten to twelve group therapy meetings (with a one-hour duration for each) every week, that adhere to the detailed curriculum aimed at developing recovery skills and cultivating a sense of belonging and connection among group members.
• Keep clients accountable for their progress by regularly assessing their Core Milestones and NPS scores.
• Demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond in order to meet the needs and expectations of the community, even in difficult or contentious situations
• Encourage community stakeholders to learn about the important work of Groups by providing them with engaging brochures and written materials

Qualifications

• Ultimately, pursuing a master's degree in the mental or behavioral health discipline offers a wide range of career opportunities and provides individuals with the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
• Suitable candidates must be under supervision and working towards obtaining qualifications in MFT, LMFT, LPC, LPC-MHSP, LMSW, LCSW, LADAC level 1 & 2, LSPE, and Licensed Psychologist/Psy.D. Candidates with RN & LPN backgrounds and experience leading therapeutic groups, along with the appropriate paperwork, may also apply.
• The ability to foster interpersonal connections and offer guidance without being directive is key in leading a successful group therapy session.
• Adept at Advanced Technology: Well versed in advanced technological tools such as EMR, telehealth software, and mobile applications to enhance the overall patient care experience.
• Representing qualities such as kindness, collaboration, providing superior healthcare, and a commitment to ensuring member prosperity.
• The ability to work 2-3 evening shifts per week until 9pm is a crucial requirement of this job posting.
• Other fitting qualifications, expertise, and competencies may involve experience in mental health, social work, medication-assisted treatment or MAT, substance abuse therapy, human services, and social welfare.
