Surfpoint Recovery is dedicated to providing care and treatment to those battling substance and alcohol use disorders. We deliver a full spectrum of services, including detox, medication-assisted treatment, rehab, and recovery therapy. We are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team.

As LPN, you will provide individualized nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse, applying established standards and techniques. This role offers collaboration with skilled professionals and opportunities to advance your expertise.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time: Three 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)
• Part-time: Two 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and educate patients on medications, documenting responses.
• Maintain medical records of admissions, transfers, and treatments, reporting abnormalities.
• Document detox progress and collaborate with the treatment team.
• Conduct withdrawal assessments and monitor patient vitals.
• Participate in CQI programs and report relevant data.

Qualifications:

• Degree from an accredited nursing program with an active NY State License.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in addiction treatment.
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills, with computer literacy.
